I never had the pleasure to meet her nor her husband in person but we kept in touch by email and by phone. We exchanged gifts during Christmas. Mrs Hurley would send a box of goodies to my daughter Sarah, at the time my daughter was about two or three years old. Mr and Mrs Hurley did it for several years and then we lost touch. We spoke over the phone a few times and they were always very sweet. I will share the last email i received from Mr and Mrs Hurley back in 2012.
My condolences to the family and may the Lord fill your hearts with strength and peace.
Dear Joanna and Sarah;
I want to "THANK YOU" so much for the "Beautiful Basket of Goodies" I received "Today", you really know how to make a GUY FEEL GOOD over this "Holidays SEASON". I`m sure they won`t last long.
We want to wish "You and your family a "VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON".
THANKS AGAIN FOR THINKING OF US.
Hope Sarah liked her "GINGERBREAD HOUSE "

Bobby and Janie, My condolences on the death of your Mother. She was a fine lady. I know she loved you very much, and will continue to do so, along with your Dad in heaven now. I always enjoyed running into them, and enjoying a chat. Mostly about you two, and my two. May she RIP, Sandra D'Acunto
